Biological pest control or biological control has received considerable attention in the world of agriculture today. The return of the magicians GLIO and BVR from PT. NASA, which has been re-certified from the pesticide commission, is expected to be able to save farmers from pests and plant diseases.

GLIO and BVR are one of the biological agents G that can be used as biological or biological control because they are included in the categories of antagonistic fungi (fungi that eat fungi) and entomopathogenic fungi (fungi that eat pests). There are several reasons why GLIO and BVR are preferred for pest control over other organisms. Because GLIO and BVR fungi have a high reproductive capacity, short life cycle, they can form spores that can survive for a long time in nature, even under unfavorable conditions. In addition, this product is relatively safe, selective, compatible with various insecticides, relatively easy to produce and the possibility of causing resistance is very small.

The success of using GLIO and BVR mushrooms in the field is strongly influenced by environmental factors (temperature and humidity) and the number of spores sprayed. In addition, it is necessary to know the biology of the pest or its life cycle so that the spraying time can be more precise. This product is not sprayed during the hot sun, it is better to apply it on a cloudy or late afternoon.
The viability of GLIO and BVR fungal spores is influenced by temperature, humidity, pH, solar radiation and chemical compounds such as nutrients and pesticides. This is important to study, because the condition for a successful pathogen to be used as a pest control agent is that it must have maintained or high viability and virulence.

The mechanism of action of GLIO WP Antagonist Fungi against other organisms by means of hyperparasitism, antibiosis and lysis or a combination of both. The ideal way of using it is mixed with mature manure or compost, namely 1 box of GLIO WP (100 gr) mixed with 30 kg of PUKAN or COMPOST, stirred until smooth, then allowed to stand for 1-2 weeks. Or it can be mixed with SUPERNASA or POWER sprayed or leaked, ORGANINDO is sprinkled or POC NASA, HRN, GREENSTAR or FRUITOP is sprayed.

Let's welcome the good news of the return of GLIO and BVR from PT NATURAL NUSANTARA, which is one of the antagonist fungi, Gliocladium sp, Trichoderma harzianum (GLIO WP) and the entomopathogenic fungus, Beuaveria bassiana (BVR WP).

Best of luck to you NASA agrocomplex warriors!
